The British Council is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service and Sales Coordinator to deliver exceptional service and support across its Exams and Cultural Engagement services.

Role overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service across multiple channels (in-person, email, phone, social media).
  • Handle enquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Support sales through proactive communication, lead nurturing, and cross-selling.
  • Assist with exam registration, payments, and pre/post-test processes.
  • Supervise and coach customer service team members, including ad-hoc staff.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in English (B1/B2) and Uzbek and/or Russian (B2/C1).
  • Experience in customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable:

  • Customer Service or Sales qualification.
  • Experience supporting exam services or cultural engagement projects.
